So that's how you got your start! That's awesome, well a great story on how one got to where they are now.

I've always pondered applying at one of the local papers and working my way up, though at my age, I don't think would be a good thing to start at the bottom.. lol

I chuckled to myself and recalled this blog entry when PM was in town for Stampede to flip some pancakes (yawn)...we had to yell at the the PMO peeps to move the "citizens" with cellphones. For some reason they had been given free reign to stand in front of us in the "buffer" area with their bberries, iphones...frig!

Even though I couldnt get accreditation for the Olympics, it was still a great event to enjoy and experience within the city and whistler etc.

I did get accredited for the Paralympics, granted VANOC was quite lax with this and I was late in getting it so I was only able to attend a couple of the winter events; Downhill, Super G and Ice Sledge Hockey.

I actually saw you at Downhill talking to a colleague of mine, and was going to come by and say hi but you were busy snapping away as the racers came across the finish line. Though I'm sure I have a photo of you shooting away from when I was up near the last gate.

As it was your first Paralympics, would you shoot them again?
